shut down a system using command
If someone wants to shut down a system under (Server 2000)domain, He can easily shut down remote systems using the following command.
- Shutdown /i
- A window will appear, you have to just enter the remote system ip that you want to shutdown
- Enter the time in seconds or uncheck the box to shut down without any delay
- Then enter the comment for which you want to shut down the remote system or just simply press space in by clicking in empty space
- Click ok
After the successful completion you will get you 'll get the message in command prompt.
